#18 Man wants to be immortal through literature!

To write for ourselves is not called literature - just as a bird has gone in the joy of it's joy, in the same way, we too write for ourselves as if we are different in our enjoyment, as if the listener or reader has no direct relation with it. It cannot be said unquestionably that when the bird sings, the bird-society is not in his or her attention at all. But one has to agree that the main goal of the writer's work is the reader-society. Just as the fuel which does not burn cannot be called by the name of fire, similarly the poet who looks at the sky and becomes silent like the sky, cannot be called a poet. Light is literature. The publication of expressions for oneself alone is also such a meaningless thing. The composition itself is not for the creator, it has to be accepted. This is the natural tendency of our emotions that they want to experience themselves in many hearts.

 The more a person can multiply himself, and the more he can expand, the wider the range of his life, the more he can experience his existence in the world. We also see similar efforts inside the mental expressions want to affect infinite hearts for eternity.

Man has been trying to fulfill this desire since time immemorial. In how many signs, in how many languages, in how many scripts, in how many stone carvings, in how many slabs of metals, in how many leather braces, in how many trees, in leaves, in paper, in how many pieces, with chisels?

How much illustrations and expressions have been published with cuttings. One day our house, our belongings, etc., our body-mind, everything will be destroyed - the only thought I have experienced, everything I have experienced, will live in the living world by resorting to the wisdom and spirit of man for all eternity will remain. The best emperor of the world, Ashoka, wanted to get his things heard from eternity, he dug them in the body of a mountain.

It should not be understood that I consider Ashoka's orders to be literature. It is known from this that what is the strong desire of man. The idol we are building, painting, writing poetry, building stone temple is nothing else, the heart of man is praying immortality to man. Man wants to be immortal through literature. Many country well-wishers critics say that writers are filling the literature with only plays, novels, narratives and poetry. The time only useful literature of the country is fulfilled, but the literature which is of all time, always maintains its existence intact.

One has to promote the object of knowledge. Knowledge always changes. New inventions prove old inventions confusing and wrong. But it cannot be said about sentiments. No matter how publicized it is, it never gets old.
